We’ve had the Island Challenge and now the Gym Challenge, what’s the badge collecting “Challenge” going to be for Gen 9?

You will need to fight trainers that are gifted with a certain type of pokemon and when you will beat them they will give you the ability of catching these types of pokemon. Screenshot this.

So what about the other 7-10 types? Will you be able to catch them without the unlock (assuming they don't share a type as a specialist). If they do all 18 they would buff trading to hell and would be way to hardcore for new Gamefreak even if the first guy only has 1 level 6 normies would feel it's overly restrictive.

As newbie you start as 100 rank trainer, this rank is shared with a lot of other newbies

You rank up positions by finding and defeating trainers with higher rank than you.

Once you reach the 10th rank, you use your Fame checker to find the Top 9

The ranks from 9 to 1 only have one trainers each one and they are the equivalent to the gym leaders/elite4

The number one, the Champion, has an important duty as a top trainer so when you defeat him, he stays as the important number 1, and you become the number 0, The Champion

I hope they go back to normal gyms where the gym leaders can wear normal shit and not sports wear.
Also, bring back normal looking badges, this medal thing is ugly af and the lazy naming of "TYPE" badge.
