Just picked up these games again for some nostalgia after not playing since close to release. Why is everything so damn slow? The walking is slow, the running is slow, the battles are slow, everything plays substantially slower than other gens. Thank God Sinnoh isn't Hoenn and there's not much water, because I'm sure that using an actual paddelboat would be faster than surfing in these games.
