I dont understand why people are expecting a Gold and Silver remake, you can already get Ho-oh and Lugia in the gamecube games, that was one of their main selling points. Also there is no point, FireRed and LeafGreen were only made because you couldnt get Kanto pokemon in the gen 3 games and you could also collect all the gen 2 pokemon in the gen 3 games. If GameFreak wanted Gold and Silver remakes then they wouldnt have made it so you can get the box legends through events/the gamecube games.
