I love these ancient artifact looking pokemon and used Sigilyph in my first BW run, but this thing is seriously flawed.
The top is supposed to look like a bird head as seen from above, but it looks like a dildo. Very poor decision

Should evolve from Unown and Alomomola should evolve from Luvdisc. Gen 5 was lame. They should have allowed crossgen evos.

Alomomola is fair enough, but Unow have a really sutile lore with Arceus that would be ruined if they just made them evolve into indo a flying totem.

I go out of my way to pick up Sigilyph in every Unova playthrough. It's a great Pokemon, and had a larger movepool than you'd think. Ice Beam, Charge Beam, Flash Cannon, all learnable.

I love how 90s and aggressively "normal" these smooth floating nerd ducks are, despite just being the most obvious continuation of Porygon you could think of.

They truly look like "graphic_design_is_my_passion.obj" included by Microsoft as a default example for some clunky-ass 3D modeling suite in Windows 95. Even weird teal-pink color scheme just screams "90s software product" to me.

All this on top of them actually kicking ass in game.
