are these the most authentic teams to use if you want to imitate team aqua or magma?
any other recommendations or movesets?
to use in the GBA and GC games.

Besides The mightyena and Crobat families:

Team Aqua: Mudkip line, Huntail/Gorebyss, Milotic, Gyarados, Wailord, Walrein, Starmie, Lanturn, Kingdra, and other waters of hoenn.

Team Magma: Magcargo, Ninetails, Rhydon, Flygon, Claydol, Sandslash, Whiscash, and other ground or fire types.

They did use it in the anime, which is really a blueball for those who played the games. Also it's really a letdown that they don't put more fire or ground/water types for those two teams to use. Mightyena and Crobat aren't enough.

It really is a shame and a let down that team magma and aqua have such little variety in the pokemon they use, I think even Team Rocket has better variety. Even in the remakes weezing and muk being added were just lazy Kanto pandering.
