in gen 1 you can see the water under the route, and the slope implied by the way the bike moves indicates that there is enough room for a boat to fit underneath so for all thats holy op please please please just accept that its a bridge and dont ask anymore questions for all our sakes

actually, it gets sucked into a whirlpool and the captain converts the ship into a submarine and it kind of looks transformer-esque, and then they duck deep into the depths of the ocean and pop up on the other side of the cycling road.

Even if it goes under Cycling Road, that’s a pretty sharp turn for a boat.

Fuschia City always made more sense to me as a port town than Vermilion. If it weren’t for a bunch of story reasons, they could’ve put the Safari Zone where the SS Anne is and moved the dock to below Fuschia.
