>>45482661I played Sun before Ultra Moon, I knew Necrozma is Psychic, so I assumed Ultra Necrozma would be too. Ultra Necrozma kept spamming Psychic attacks against Zoroark (I don't know which was its disguise, maybe a Poison or Fighting Pokémon or something) so it doesn't matter if it's faster, as it always dealt 0 damage.
As it was a Totem Pokémon I used Foul Play which uses the Attack stat of the rival, it didn't matter I was like 10 levels below. And if the rival boosts its stats, so does the power of Foul Play. That's how I steamrolled Ultra Moon (and glad I did because BOI that was boring).
These games are fucking piss easy and every gen since 5 (the last time they tried) they are easier. If you had problems with Leon sorry but you might as well ask your local government for a handicapped pay or something.
And it's not because I'm now older and thus wiser or something. You can go back to play the first gens and see they are much tougher. It's the sheer amount of options you have available (almost any Pokémon learns a shitton of movements and can have nearly perfect coverage) while the rivals just stand there with shit movesets and a brain dead AI that always goes for the supereffective hit and doesn't even take abilities into account.
You have to handicap yourself (play on set, not using items, not using TMs, not using Exp All or if it's mandatory keep rotating your team so it's never overleveled) to make this somewhat challenging.
Even my 10 years old nephew is bored because he doesn't apply those restrictions on himself (why should he?) and didn't finish Shield
