I like it because it's extremely creepy — but really good at hiding it. Just read the dex entries.
"Oh, it likes to walk holding its master hand!" — Yeah. With tentacles. Specifically, to read their emotions with said tentacles.
"Oh, it projects a calming aura that makes you peaceful and can stop battles!" — Then it attacks.
Lifeless eyes, fangs on full display — but then it makes a cute face and no one notices that. "Who's the most adorable abomination ever? You are!"
If you touch it, you'll love it. Screw that, no need to touch, it can make you love it with a ranged attack. And it can kill you with a kiss.
Basically, it lives up to the fairy tales of old.
