This is Showderp. Here, a person posts with a trip and gets called "champ". He will use 6 Pokémon given by the anons on the thread (which can have meme sets such as our classic Specs Weedle) and take on the Pokémon Showdown ladder, hopefully... We will join the battle and, if we are lucky, more than 8 people will be around (even tho back then we easily reached 20+ per match).
When champ gets depressed at the continuously dwindling numbers of this fringe community, he can call for either a "new team" or a "new champ". If he calls for a new champ, then another sucker will hopefully post with his tripcode in the next 30 minutes and take over the thread, so that the cycle start again.
