I'm sorry but are you saying that the wild area is actually "good". HA. The Wild Area is literally just a pile of crap. I mean it was poorly executed. I understand It was for the multiplayer aspect but the fact remains that the graphics in the wild area are poor and has little to no use in a region where the whole region from routes to towns is just a god damn straight line. DPPT is very good at not being linear and allows for more exploration like mount coronet which has multiple layers unlike Galar Mine 1 and 2. But anyway the Wild Area itself could've been tied more into the story and give the player more freedom to explore rather than just go around motostoke city and hammerlocke city which in fact I would say is also quite linear. Another thing they could've done was make the postgame set about finding UB/legendaries in the wild area and the player gaining the power of these legendaries to stop the rise of Team Rainbow Rocket in Galar as they will surely want to take over the region. So in short they could've made the Wild Area more interesting and give it some better graphics
