It almost seems like he's built to be a wall but they didn't fully commit to it, and it's not like his typing is great for defenses either.
Plus two of his abilities (Chlorophyll and Solar Power) should favor more offensive Pokémon...which Tropius isn't. What did they even want this thing to be?

This, Corsola, and Aurorus are all examples of poklemon where like
their stats are kinda meant to be tanky or all-around but the typing gives them a shitton of weaknesses to the point where it's hard to use the pokemon

If you want to use it in game without suffering just do what I did and use a romhack tool to edit its stats. I took Aggron and upped his speed to base 80 while cutting his defense in half and changing his type from steel rock to steel dragon. I would have never used him otherwise

This guy is weak to literally everything but they didn't think of giving him a speed stat to balance it out, but if GF understood how to balance stuff OU and VGC wouldn't be legendary spam with the occasional busted regular pokemon or starter.
