God, I remember buying those shitty bootleg games. I only ever bought Pokemon games for my GBA when I was a kid. When I bought Shinygold and Naranja I would get softlocked from accessing certain areas, I would literally cry in frustration because no matter what I can't progress through the game. The only good thing to come out of those games is that I was able to transfer the Johto starters to Firered and Emerald
