>>45504926>The Bad: Double Battles with NPC partners are literally never a good idea, and the fact that the climax of the whole Giovanni subplot is one of them is a stain on the whole game.
The AI sometimes blatantly cheats (like knowing which items you're holding and adapting to it) and sometimes goes full retard (like stubbornly refusing to switch out of bad match-ups for no apparent reason). I completely broke Sabrina just by bringing a Pokemon with Wide Guard, and she had no idea what to do about it.
Legendary spam in the E4 is boring. I wouldn't even mind if they fit the theme somehow, but Gary having a
Primal Groudon and Darkrai is dumb
The IV maxer is too expensive. I realise that's kinda the point, but you can only really afford to max out 2 Pokemon by the very end of the game. I'd like to see a cheaper alternative that only maxes one stat perhaps. You don't really NEED max IVs all round but pumping up Speed at leastwould be nice.
Raids are absolute garbage. I haven't played SWSH either so idk if they're accurate to the real thing, but they're just spamming your strongest attack over and over until you win. I didn't lose a single one through the entire game. They need to be way harder or have some more mechanics mixed in to make them more interesting.
I know I said I liked the buffs, and I do, but they're distributed really poorly. Some shitmon, like Furret, are turned into literal Gods, while others get a measly +10 HP or something
Some of the sprites suck, but desu I don't care about that. It's not what the hack is about.
The creator's way of nerfing strategies that counter his game is kinda stupid. The Corviknight thing is already kinda infamous, and I hear he's planning on removing Wide Guard entirely for the exploit I mentioned above instead of just fixing the AI. Not a huge deal but it's just an inelegant way of 'brute forcing' his vision of balance.
