>>45520843>It’s worse than Urshifu’s, but Urshifu is the best wallbreaker in OU.I don't even think you should compare it to Urshifu at all, it is so much weaker. Urshifu hits everything besides Fairy types with its STABs, and it gets Iron Head and Poison Jab to deal with those. Fighting/Steel seems like a nice type combo at first, but it misses out on so many key things like Toxapex, Slowbro, Zapdos, and other things that are already on every team. It also has the same issue as Urshifu in that its STAB moves have 16 PP total between the two of them, but it is much weaker, so this fault comes up much more.
>Most things aren’t OHKOing Zam-C either, and a Close Combat or Behemoth Bash will be doing massive damage anyways. That massive speed also lets Zam-C easily run Adamant too. While it's not generally being OHKO'd (except by Pheromosa, one of the most common offensive mons), it is taking multiple turns to do much back. Again, it's only 2HKOing most offensive mons, stuff like Spectrier only takes 37% from Behemoth Bash after burning it. Also, I really don't think Adamant is viable, being slower than Cinderace and Tornadus-T is a liability.
>Yeah it does, when you have 130 Atk and 128 Spe, in conjection with its residual immunities thanks to its Fighting/Steel. It can rest off any burns, which makes the 50 turns you chipped at Zam-C worthless, and there are plenty of Clerics that can heal Zam-C easily because of that bulk and servicable attack. On the slip side, it can't use Leftovers and it's reliant on Wild Charge, which results in it taking a lot of chip damage from that. Add to the fact that all its moves are contact, and Rocky Helmet, Static, and Flame Body being common, and it actually gets chipped way more than you'd think. I don't think Rest is that good on it, if you run Rest it becomes even more matchup-based. Rest + 3 is just bad, even if you have a cleric, and Rest Talk, while it fixes the PP problem, leaves it walled by every defensive mon.
