Rescue team is noticeably more intense story wise then the other games because at one point all of your friends attempt to murder you in the middle of the street and with only your partner at your side you are forced to live as a fugitive.
It's played completely straight too with your partner starting to fear death at the final leg of the journey supposing that you two have walked so far without rest and were likely to just die in the snow.
I suppose they wanted to lighten that up a bit more but the new look kind of makes a mockey of the whole thing.
