Was it really all their fault?

Does anyone else think for a second that it wasn't entirely their fault and that maybe the pressure from Nintendo was the reason they cracked and released one of the least completed titles in the series. It even sold better than Ruby and Sapphire at this point.

I feel like there were a lot of rumors that went around before release but there was one that really stood out to me and it was that during the mass port of all of the pokemon models from S/M to the switch, something broke and caused all the models to desync with their rigs and subsequently their animations. So because they didn't have enough time to re-do the 800+ unique models, and because Nintendo wanted new and fresh features, they just cut the dex and moved on without over 400 pokemon so they'd have enough time to make shit like the wild area or the damn curry dex.

Does anyone else think that it was the heads that drove them crazy and wouldn't allow a delay for the games release cause it's not 2006 anymore?
