If the entire internet infrastructure of the world collapses, the $90 version of the game has the most Pokemon natively in any game in the series

I'm not even mad about that, I'm more pissed that it gets more safer, easier, linear, lazier, simpler each title. I was excited to see more gameplay and challenging options when they introduced Mega Evo and z moves but now i realize it's just a gimmick like dynamaxing and won't be used to its full potential. I feel they could of really shined in online competitive play, and made it easier to make pokemon teams like pokemon showdown but they never even tried.

It's really easy to go "people who did the thing are wrong and dumb." Actually analyze why they bought the game. The sales numbers are significant enough that even if you don't like the answer that you find, it is technically correct.
