2~5 are fine. Not the best, but on par or slightly less good looking than their contemporaries. Now the 3DS games and gen1? The gap is way bigger in graphical quality.

As much as I hate Gen 7 I will say that they at least look like proper 3DS games if only because they took an entire gen to figure it out.
