What do you guys think of the Pokemon adventures manga, Is it worth reading? If so what parts are good?

Don't skip anything. Start from the beggining and go from there. Make your own opinions, stop relying on others, even more so if those others are anons on an imageboard that hates pokémon.

As a manga it's alright, it's worth reading the first 2 arcs. Kanto and Jhoto have fun stories, although in hoenn it gets a little messy, they do lots of weird edgy things in that arc and I still don't like it that much.

DPPT is legit super comfy though, legit lots of fun and well done imo. BW is alright, kinda too edgy imo as well.

Nearly every Battle Frontier arc is better than the entirety of Pokemon Adventures.

The RSE arc is the only good one. BW onwards are all badly paced edgefests with too much happening and not enough explanation. You barely even get legitimate battles anymore.

I've been marathoning the series. You know how the common opinion for the games is that third version and remakes are good, first versions are shit? It's like the inverse for the manga, with a couple of exceptions...hated RS but I liked Yellow/FRLG well enough

Ironic considering how Ruby and Sapphire are the most faithful portrayal of the game they are based off unlike the gen 1 and 2 that have a lot of weird/random and out of place things.

The only one I skipped was emerald because I couldn't find it anywhere for free for the longest time and then once I did, it looked very boring and I was uninterested in the main character

I am still mad about how shitty was Platinum.
DP is easily the second best part of the manga, and they have to ruined it. At least after that we got HGSS
