What's the best way to play through the entire franchise? Chronologically or reverse?

Chronologically. RBG and GS are the only non 3rd version games worth playing. For everything else Yellow, Crystal, FRLG, Emerald, Plat, HGSS, BW, BW2. And I guess XY and USUM if you want to experience the mediocrity of 3D and a pretty region but that’s about it. ORAS only if you’re a hoenfag like me and want to be disappointed in the end.
