>>45544703>/vp/ has the craziest range of every board. You have actual twitter sjw tier posters and the biggest autists of all time. Makes a really weird board./vp/ is sort of like /mlp/ where because you have a board dedicated for ONE subject instead of a general array of subjects to talk about, you end up with a very fringe board that uses these type of boards as echo chambers and unsurprisingly sperg out whenever they feel their chamber as been disturbed in some fashion. Many people here come here to talk about Pokemon EXCLUSIVELY, as in they genuinely have zero interest in any other media except for Pokemon, as some sort of obsession. Tangentially related, but a lot of these people also have overlap with Twitter, who also follow exclusively Pokemon-related Twitter accounts.
It's sort of like generals on /vg/ except even shittier, it feels like you're often talking to the exact same people often but spread out among different threads.
Also, Pokemon is a franchise that's generally static and unchanging, but also slightly dumbs itself down for small children more and more, which ends up resulting in some really infantilized poster; far more prominent is the above-mentioned group that doesn't consume anything except Pokemon.
