>>45548655>still, there's no real reason to remove it imoi might be salty because i wanted to see the wet skirt scene again
Most of what Lillie said on that island is said later on anyways. The Murkrow Bridge had some dialogue changes for her "I want to be a trainer." stuff that is pretty good and in RR, she has that cute confession to you.
The only thing we miss is back story between her and her mother. I'd keep that scene in, but it isn't worth crying over.
>mother beast was great imo, maybe not mechanically but definitely story wiseYeah, the problem though is right after you knock Lusamine out, she suddenly starts being nice out of nowhere with NOTHING prior foreshadowing this
and all of a sudden, Lillie forgave Lusamine for everything, ditched her new found friends, her newfound family and left Kanto specifically to treat her mother over something that woman brought upon herself.
The abused child, goes back to her not so convincingly redeemed abuser. You block out what happens after the mother beast, the stuff that back tracks on what was a good story.
>i might need to replay sun and moon since i've had a 4 year gap in between playing the base game and usumOr just look it up since it's a LOT of dialogue and cutscenes.
>i still stand with my opinion about the characters, maybe not most of the side characters but Lillie and lusamine's stories specifically got downgraded overallKind of agree, but that's because they are not the focus of Ultra's story.
I like how in Ultra, Lusamine is more human and her backstory and motives are better explained. She is still the main cause of all the problems in the story and even Necrozma wouldn't have gotten as bad without her going the way of Leeroy.
In Ultra Moon, that woman gets a BURN from Phyco. We also got an on screen redemption for her and the story ends with Lusamine getting started on that, on top of the closure. We see more of this in Masters.
