>>45548701You're what some may refer to as "faggot" because you don't know how to type "because".
Now that that's established, look at side games. If you have a 3DS put CFW on it so you can ruin your touch screen with the Ranger series (or phone + stylus if you have a good stylus to use). The Mystery Dungeon series is great, but even though you don't enter "battle mode" it's still turn based. The Pokemon Pinball games have a collecting element to them. The Stadium games on N64 don't collect monsters, but there's no JRPG story to follow and you collect badges using pre-made pokemon ready for battle, and they have mini-games too. The Rumble series isn't turned based, and instead of leveling up with exp you instead collect new pokemon that have a higher level. Pokemon Picross is just Picross but there's pokemon in it if that's enough to make you try it.
Alternatively play a "3rd version", the game that should have been released for a generation. This includes Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, and Black + Black 2 or White + White 2 if you end up trying a traditional game. Since you hate JRPGs, if you're ever feeling suicidal play (Ultra) Sun or Moon so you'll go through with it after trying to play the game for 5 minutes.
Also alternatively, play X or Y version. It's a traditional game, yes, but it's widely regarded as the easiest game. It has the largest regional pokedex of any game so far. Mash through all the text you don't care about while leveling up 1 pokemon to kill all trainer and gym leader teams and focus your time on finishing the pokedex.
Now if you excuse me I have to go jerk off to female pokemon characters.
