Left I think is too drastic of a change despite being a cool monster, also kind of rough pixel art in general. Right definitely looks cleaner and more in line with an evolution.

I like the drastic change between Yanma and its evolution. The left looks a little chunkier and I think the colors look a little worse that what we got but it's not a bad design. Final wins for me.
