Usually I leave enough doubles/high levels to shiny hunt in old games, to get Shiny Charm.

Uh, yeah? I have a full Alola Dex in Bank I use to shiny hunt Wormhole legends I want, and just reset if I want casual trade fodder faster than DMax Adventures. Plus easy Beast Ball access.

SWSH has shiny charm as well.

How hard is it to get shinies now that you're used to Ultra Wormhole hunting? I tried for a couple of hours like a week ago and but got discouraged pretty quick.

I mean it’s still rng, so it sorta sucks. Could be as much as I heard one guy was up to 16,000 encounters for Buzzwole, or it could be the first encounter, like I somehow got lucky on getting a shiny Xurkitree, on first ever visit to its world even.
