Removing steels resistance to air is retarded.
It's one of the strongest offensive types already and you just made the only decent counterplay shitty ice types.

There. Now Knock Off is nerfed and also Mega-Kang (RIP) is reliably checked by the Muskedeers and scarf Arcanine/Lucario/anything else with Justified

There. Now no one can spam Max Airstream and get to +3 in Speed anymore, so Dynamax is a little more balanced.

This is the worst balancing philosophy, but this one I especially object to:

That's a good way to kill the usage of these moves altogether.

It wouldn't kill any of those moves at all.

Knock Off has decent use in ADV and HGSS, with 20 BP.

Teleport doesn't do any damage and is functionally similar to U-Turn.

Not really.
Those moves are used for their effect. The damage is just a nice bonus.

Sap Sipper is justified by being called "Herbivorous" in Japanese, implying that the user just eats any grass moves that come at it.
Maybe the flying-immunity ability can have something to do with breathing.

Flying moves are a mix between wind-based moves and bird-appendage-based moves. Any way you slice it, it's gonna be hard to justify getting healed from being slapped by a bird's wing.

Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric should all resist Fairy just like Dragon resists all of them. It's like pottery.

Water typically disrupts supernatural creatures, besides the obvious "holy water" there's plenty of folklore about creatures not being able to cross rivers and such. Grass would be fine too.
I think I actually meant to remove Water's resistance to Steel too, so resisting Fairy was kind of compensation for that on top of losing the Ice resist, but I forgot or changed my mind.

I wouldn't even mind this, you can justify all of these (Electricity representing technology > Fairy nature), but in that case I'd let them keep their Dragon immunity to compensate.

When I first started XY there was this instinctual feeling that grass and fairy would resist each other. A fairy wouldn't want to harm nature and would probably only attack grass and trees reluctantly but because they're so in touch with nature they likewise wouldn't be harmed by it

Illuminate works like an upon-contact Bright Powder.

Keen Eye gives immunity to redirection.

Water Sport heals the user from burn.
Same with Mud Sport and paralysis.

I'm all for this. I find it weird how inconsistent these abilities are. Water Absorb and Volt Absorb heal you, but Flash Fire doesn't. Justified doesn't give an immunity, which makes sense but is a bit lame. Oh but Sap Sipper gets to be immune to Grass.

Gallade needs some sort of defensive buff, Justified having an immunity would be great for that.

Honestly, that makes a lot of sense.
Fairies are nature spirits and shouldn't be able to fuck with the cardinal natural elements.
Same as how dragons are powerful and can fuck with the cardinal elements. And since having it be SE against all 4 would be OP, having it resist all 4 is the next best thing.
