That being said I do like your "normal" looking pokemon too. What I don't like is (most)sw/sh. They look too weird and some of them look like they are discount ultra beasts. For example Stonejourner, Eiscue, Fossil pokes and Eternates.
When weird and abnormal becomes the normal, it's kinda no longer special and just weird and abnormal, if you know what I mean.
