Shit, Game Freak know EXACTLY how to sell their shit, if they want to - most of the current studio are there because of Pokémon after all and they helped continue its success after all. Town is the epitome of a passion project as no studio bigwig would let their staff make something as niche as Town with little hope of recouping costs, much less do it proudly like Game Freak did (or take the opportunity to self-publish the thing).
