They proved that, despite modern hardware, near bottomless funding, an an entire army of help with said new, modern hardware, GF'll still churn out an outdated rehash that continues to roll around in the niche gen 1 dug. No matter the circumstances, pokemon is never going to evolve, and any holdouts (such as myself) might as well jump ship, things are never going to improve, and pokemon will never "catch up" with other RPGs.
