>returning pokemon are all mainly great, one of the best selection of Pokémon in the series
>no high stakes storyline in which you’re the chosen one, just a simplistic plot harking back to the earlier gens
>game is focused on just catching Pokémon and exploring
>game difficulty still changes depending on which started you go
>still very active competitive and online communities
>tundra dlc was actually quite amazing
>isle of shields or whatever the fuck had better environments though
