Cinderace has numerous design choices that make it unnapealing. It's yet another humanoid and anthro fire starter which people are sick of. It's a shillmon and has obvious favoritism when starters should be treated equally. It's design is very basic, and bland so it doesn't even have an interesting concept. All in all cinderace combines everything /vp hates about starters, on top of an ugly design. Which is why it's hated.
