If you mean the best remake? Yes by far just wish the dex for players and gym leader was better and shit level issue was addressed.
Now I am not a 100% fan of johto I feel I need to say that, each gen is basically meh to me so I have no favorite.

But, FRLG was bland with to much empty room, ORAS was bad, the only thing enjoyable is the NavDex and we need that back and Let's Go was for the app's benefit and created lore for the split multiverses of those who have mega and do not have mega.

Sadly GF Will fuck up Sinnoh remake as the directors will not put in half the effort.

No (some of what you posted is subjective), but following pokemon, pokeathalon, safari zone, more legendaries to capture, ramatches, battle frontier, better distribution, better graphics, p/s split, touch screen additions, pokewalker and more mons are better

Yes, ORAS is beyond redeemable and FRLG was fun until I grew up. LGPE is good too but a totally different direction.

Playing Crystal at a relative's house made me go out and hunt down the gen 2 games since I liked it so much more than FRLG and RS. I was ecstatic when HGSS were announced, and those games got me back into Pokémon.

I realized the other day that the likely reason why HGSS didn't do that much to improve GS' mon selection is because they wanted people to use the pokewalker. With that gimmicky thing taken into account it becomes the most diverse game for its time
Love how most of these games become exponentially worse to play a couple years after they come out

If any of you people still occasionally or regularly play hgss (or any other gen3-5), my boy Humphry Bumkiss started a discord after a thread here died the other night. It's set up to be a hub of all the people that still actually play these games online. Only a few anons in so far but it's set up pretty nice, roles for lots of master traders and battle challengers, hackers too.
