I don't know the story yet, Gulpin definitely changed because of eating psychedelic foods, I just don't know yet what the food is. I have a Psychic/Bug line that uses fruits as trickery, so I'll may tie them into Gulpin's lore.
Spearow and Fearow are just based on these beautiful vultures that I had seen in a video. Their lore is the typical lore for Dark type variants. Food is scarce, you have to fight, etc. They have the reddish color because the mountain they live on is made of red stone, so they are able to camouflage. The beige is just something that was left from their Kantonian forms, as generations go by, those feathers will turn dark too.
