I'd like to see Australia or New Zealand, and no, they're 2 very different countries with different eco-systems, both have their own cultures and unique animals so there's no reason why they should be group together as a region.

They probably made Gen 9 prior to COVID so it's gonna be another foreign place.

Expect another Japanese region by Gen 10 and they'd market it as another "return to simplicity" and probably creating another super region with 251 pokemon in the first half, and another set of 250 in the second half.
