Holy shit, I didnt tought this shit was this bad. Of all the shitty things those games have been doing this is the one will make me stop buying if it stays in the next games.

FUCK, the only reason that I bought the DLC is was because I believed that they were going to install again the Exp.share item. I'm so fucking angry for how retarded I were.

Those RPGs are designed and specifically balanced around having a full party, though.
Dragon Quest VIII is one of my favorite RPGs.. full party, some bosses are still very difficult.

Top be fair, even back on the SNES it wasn't uncommon for members not even in the party to gain some or all EXP. Of course, for Pokemon that would mean every Pokemon in the box gains EXP, which I could see happening if somebody at GF thinks it's a good idea.

Because despite their argument that it's "standard", standards are always evolving. I always bring up the Bravely and Xenoblade games when talking about how they allow more tailor-made options ranging from turning off EXP gain entirely, turning off random encounters, allowing you to level-down, and more options for changing difficulty.

Imagine the Breedies forgetting to mass-release their breedjects and having to go through several boxes worth of level up prompts while they're trying to EV Train.

The issue isn't the exp share, the issue is that the game hands out too much exp. Fucking Pokemon Clover has shared exp and it's still harder than any official game.

SwSh's EXP curve would be fine if the back half of the game wasn't ridiculously fast-paced. There are two pairs of gym leaders whose aces are only two levels apart, and then Leon's ace is almost twenty fucking levels higher than Raihan's.
Being able to change out your party at any time and having EXP candy to bring any new Pokémon up to par with your team is great for managing the EXP curve in theory. Maybe in future games they should completely adopt that system, encounters give you EXP and EVs as consumable items, so you have full control over how your Pokémon grow.

I hate the fact that Game Freak decided to make the Exp.Share a permanent feature, while existing leftover code about its toggleability in Let's GO.

However, I am about to end my second playthrough of SWSH and I can say that the best way to work around the forced overleveling caused by the exp.share is to use a team of 10-12 pokémon that you rotate (The box anywhere feature helps a lot) and using candies only to make weaker team members catch up.
If you do this the game will be more fun in my opinion as you get to choose the optimal team for every major battle while also being underleveled. Not using Dynamax also helps.

Every route has a gimmick to by pass.
Gyms are actual boss fights
Level up only works through items that you win during battle but if you lose you have to give them all away

Once you get out of that mindset that you can only plan for and use a single team the permanent Exp. Share isn't that bad.

Pokemon isn't a standard RPG and has several conflicting design details which go against the idea of a permanent Exp. Share. Admittedly, this is not the fault of the Exp. Share itself and rather a product of GameFreak's terrible design philosophy + refusal to retcon bad mechanics, but nonetheless if they refuse to fix the things that cause problems with it then the decision to force Exp. Share is just another bad one to add to the pile.
