Look for carts with a black and slightly translucent shell (For the IR sensor), generally searching eBay for things like "Pokemon White 2 Authentic" will give you lists of them. However, these will cost a pretty penny, avoid repro carts, they lack IR and are usually buggy, if you aren't willing to pay the price for a real cart, get an R4.

Retro game shops are the safest place since most sell it for less than GameStop and have store owners experienced with spotting fakes. Ebay is a gamble but generally if it's under 30 and not an autction it is unsafe
