Should I play ORAS or replay DPP?

For reference, I last played Sapphire and Diamond way back when they were respectively released.

Have you played any of the 3D era games?

The current games are a garbage fire but ORAS wasn’t too bad despite what the general consensus here is. You should try it.

I can say from experience ORAS are VERY replayable. They're easy enough that you can experiment woth your team and try new Pokemon. DPP don't really let you do that. For this reason, I would recommend ORAS.

ORAS is definitely better than Ruby and Sapphire but if you got Emerald I'd personally play that instead. ORAS isn't bad though, just wish it took a few more cues from Emerald than it did.
Platinum is the only way to play Gen 4 to me and is one of my favorites.

replay platinum or emerald. they're really different games from their originals and both better than oras. and 13 years is a really long time
