>>45618646XY are such an enigma to me. On the one hand, you have flashes of pure, unadulterated SOUL like the route names. On the other, you have the absolute worst plot and characters in in the series making them nigh un-replayable. Kalos as a region got done so dirty. If we had gotten a Kalos game for 3DS (or even Switch) with a Gen I or II storytelling philosophy, it could've been remembered as the best in the franchise.
