I’m not too well informed on Dusknoir’s competitive history, I just know that my bro is pretty bad. Thankfully he got Poltergeist, but physical ghost stab was only one issue with him (and it came a bit too late).

All the other Gen 4 evos, like Rhyperior and Magmortar, had 540/545 BST, while Dusknoir has 525. Give it +20 to attack, and then give it a new move - Shadow Leech - a physical Ghost type move with 80 base power that heals the user for 50% of damage dealt. Suddenly Dusknoir is a decent Pokemon in the middle tiers.
