Agumon/Wargreymon were in one episode that was mostly a crossover
Agumon,gabumon and omegamon lines were in the appmon card game in an attempt to revive it
And appmon has their own hackmon thats a recolour in a different hoodie
For some reason, bandai just refuses to call appmons digimons and even created their own reference book so they wouldnt be listed with digimon

Why do you think a rebranding happens? They probably tried to distance it from traditional Digimon in order to appear new and attract kids. Seems like they failed.

That said, love this Hackmon design. Unironically feels like an oldschool Digimon design.

You know how people say gen 7 was an attempt to get the Yokai Watch crowd?
Appmon is the same thing for digi-fags, except it bombed so hard Bamco doesnt even want to admit they were digimons

It's a shame it went that direction. Using phones with Digimon seems like a natural progression, there was no reason to try and change the very nature of Digimon to appeal to Yokai Watch zoomers.
