The only reason why SwSh sold so much its because is the first mainline pokemon game in a big console. If the next game continue to be as shitty as Galar is their sells are going to flop

The next game is going to be DP remakes and will possibly outsell its original release, going by past trends and current market metrics. Next Gen will likely sell on or slightly below par with Gen VIII' like how Gen VII's performance to Gen VI's and Gen V's performance to Gen IV's turned out.
The franchise marches ever onward, if it was an adult-focused thing, yeah it'd be dead years ago, likely before whenever you first picked up Pokémon to boot. But because it constantly targets children of a specific age, they ALWAYS have a fresh audience. That every game is a fresh start, a new 10yo child whose shoes we step into, regardless of whether it's the first Generation you've played or the eighth Generation you've played on release should have alerted you to this, convenient how they all introduce the players to the world in the same kind of way, even the oldest ones amongst the fresh influx of kiddies.

You clearly don't know children nowdays.
SwSh has:
- flashy mechanic that makes yout Pokémon become "big and strong and cool"
- VERY easy and quick story to complete, so you can go to the next game
- a clear focus on you becoming the new famous icon of that world
- Pokémons, that by themself make the game a MUST. Also new kids don't care about older Pokémon like dexiters AND you can actually catch a lot of them ingame.
