We kinda have that feature, don't we? I mean you can change your party out anywhere on the map without having to go to a pokemon center in gen 8, I've done it several times, what I wish is for the organization feature of that thing to come back. My boxes are a mess.

They changed it so it doesn't heal you, but for me it actually makes it feel even better. I can kind of rotate my team members out like ash, and have all of them be trained.
