Ice types will always be in low numbers each gen. But they did do good with these two. One dominates singles the other doubles. Even with how shit ice type is, these two make it work. Just please for the love or Arceus, buff hail! Aurora veil is nice but hail needs a bloody boost like the other weather's

No, Chilling Neigh + Gorilla Tactics is a lot scarier. You essentially have Moxie ontop of a free choice band, which you can couple with a yet another choice band if you’re in doubles and have Tailwind/MAX Airstream support, or a choice scarf in singles.

Ice now resists ground, grass, and flying. Hail also now lowers the speed of non-ice types by one stage, but steel types don’t get damaged by it anymore.

I feel like they don't really synergize well together, though.
GT is best for switching in and out to reset the choice lock, while CN is best for staying in to snowball.

Assuming it's got darm's speed and everything else from glastrier (darm's attack in zen mode) i think zen mode is way better. thing lives forever then when you finally do get it below half it just becomes even faster and stronger. plus trading a +1 attack boost youll likely pick up from max knuckle or chilling neigh anyway for versatility to pick any of your coverage moves and guarantee KOs with an SE move off 145/160 attack
