Dynamax was fun. I wouldn't mind seeing it return for another gen. I wouldn't be sad if it went anyway either. I guess it's one of those take it or leave it situations.

The problem is that plenty of Gen 8 mons were created with their Gigantamax forms in mind. They're just going to feel half bake without them.

As far as gimmicks go, it's the one I enjoyed the most even if it is kind of dumb, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if it were removed. It did give a lore reason to have multiplayer raids, which something I do hope stays in the series.

It is the best mechanic in years both lore-wise and gameplay wise, I don't feel like they break the game and the way you can build strategies around your 3 turn Dynamaxing is pretty good, I wish for them to stay. the animation is pretty cool too

Ideally, Game Freak would stop pushing new gimmicks and just focus on improving what they already have to work with. Creating brand new forms of Pokemon in Megas, GMax, and in Necrozma's case, Z-Moves, and then getting rid of them entirely is dumb. All gimmicks from Gens 6-8 should be included in every game moving forward, with an increased focus on further developing and improving said mechanics. There's no reason to keep making more and more new gimmicks when there are three gimmicks that already exist and can still be expanded upon.

Trash dynamax and these battle gimmicks as a whole. Pokemon PvP as it stands is already fast-paced and punishing and these gimmicks just make it worse. It's likely not happening though since its a good excuse to make more toys of older mons

All the new mechanics are fine and all but I'd like to see no new gimmicks for next gen, just vanilla Pokemon battles, with little to no legendaries and maybe balance the pseudos to be on par with normal Pokemon

I don't really care about new Pokemon forms, but I hope we don't end up getting a "temporary transformation", maybe there's a location you can visit about halfway through the game where you can bring a compatible Pokemon and permanently transform them into their powered-up forms (you have to turn them back if you want to turn someone else super), having temporary transformations are cool but you can only ever see them in battle plus having to manually transform at the start of every battle gets tiring after a while. Just give all the mons you want to buff a super form that's your team's ace.
