>>45652137I really want to avoid a DP remake that follows LGPE's design philosophy of adding new bland characters that have no impact on the story, shitty forced gameplay mechanics like catching Pokémon through shaking my joycons, or the unnecessary removal of abilities and the GTS. I'd rather have another round of SworShie than to be forced to play baby's first Pokémon adventure again.
That said, I'm basically forced to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea, so I'd be unhappy with both scenarios. Just give me DP as with the SworShie engine without forcing me to use Dynamax and other unnecessary tampering with the groundwork of DP (especially considering contests, underground, the occasional challenge etc.). Fix things like the Pokémon distribution and the Sinnoh Dex, and I'm completely content. I sadly cannot expect more from the new GF.
