If you only have $90 to do you two weeks, you have larger problems than agonising over whether to buy a computer game or not.
On the other hand, you can buy the base game and wait till next month to buy the DLC either.

How much do you like catching pokemon? Running around the wild area and on routes for pokemon is kind of fun.
Grinding is nonexistent. It's better just to get candies from raids.
Camp has some soul, I'll give it that.
Level curve isn't busted for me yet. Exp share is actually kind of balanced compared to XY. Damn near wiped to Nessa's Drewnaw.
Hop is pretty annoying though, appears way too often. I don't like Team Yell much either.
