Pokémon is always going to be limited by Nintendo relying on it as a yearly cashcow. At best it’ll get a bigger team but it’ll end up more like CoD than LotZ or Mario.
I’m not going to pretend GameFreak isn’t a sloppy mess and the game could absolutely get better devs, but every part of TPCi has a hand in the quality issues.
Best case scenario is a side RPG series aimed at older fans and single-player gameplay, although battles and trades should be kept.
>>45647650You know what? I unironically agree. I think the best thing to do would be to cull everything that isn’t Kanto and refresh the gameplay style, then adding the other Gens in sequels or DLC. Cross-Gens would hopefully be base game or free DLC though.
