I really don't think Game Freak will run an early Direct, when the end of February is the 25th anniversary. I mean, they won't be announcing whatever game they're working on till May because they don't need to send as much time hyping up a remake/rehash (when they were making them) and whatever they do talk about will be more directly tied into the immediate future. So likely more Mythical events for SS, re-iterating Shiny Mew's available in GO, 25th anniversary merch/TCG sets/Joy-Cons and the whole thing will finish with a retrospective showing random landscapes from the games before finishing on Mt Coronet and panning upward fading to black, before playing Gmax Dialga/Palkia's cries.

I don't have the pokemon hate boner for Game Freak that most people do, but I highly doubt they will produce anything I particularly want. So I imagine it will be some more news about Snap, information about the obscure side-game bullshit that is popular with normies and maybe a hint of the next mainline title that will be more of the same.
