There is no official support for 6v6 singles because it's simply not a competitive format - you are taking a naturally really long, slow format and still holding the possibility for instant win conditions. By this I mean that set-up sweepers, once they get big enough, are instant wins in singles as they just one shot everything in front of them. SHITgon has traditionally "dealt" with this by just banning every truly good offensive mon. Gamefreak deals with this by making singles 3v3; by halving team size, you are drastically cutting down how much a team sweep scenario can stand to win you versus other methods. In 6v6 you just switch around and do slow stuff for a long time, someone gets an advantage, and then they just win all at once. No one wants to play that way, but that would be the entire core of the gameplay.

This is before you consider that 6v6 relies on the hack that is Sleep Clause, an ancient stadium rule that hasn't existed in Pokemon for a decade. In 6v6 you can't prevent sleep spam from working. 3v3 solves this by team size being so limiting; the mons really good at inflicting sleep and the mons that really threaten to sweep aren't the same Pokemon, and when you only have 3 mons, you have to go all in at some point and can't really rotate mons while spreading sleep. When you have the slow pace of 6v6, you can really accumulate a lot of advantage with sleep by forcing mons to make bad switches into it.

This is all to say GF really knew what they were doing when they made singles 3v3. SHITgon's game is so very different from real Pokemon; they ban huge swaths of stuff including entire chunks of the game to force the game to play the way they're used to. If you try the archaic 6v6 format without forcing the game to play in a way that even works, you'd just have nothing but degenerate gameplay. It's really for the best to accept it's gone forever, and if you really love singles, just try 3v3 which in many ways honestly better than 6v6 ever was anyway.
