>A remake that actually acknowledges the advancements the Johto games made and sets them up in the story instead of a designated gay baby island
>Fixed the Pokemon distribution to be more like Kalos so that routes are more varied and have more than just rattata/pidgey everywhere
>Can not only walk with your Pokemon, but ride on them too
>Has a sort of hybrid-DexNav where you force Pokemon to spawn if you've gotten a chain of them, albeit random instead of guaranteed like the original DexNav was
>Artstyle is consistent and vibrant, the Pokemon assets, while re-used, actually have high quality textures befitting of a console release
>Didn't rely on regional gimmicks like Z-Moves or Dynamax. With the only gimmick being the catch mechanics and gym "trial requirements"
Admit it, LGPE was kino. The only issue was falling into the same pit FRLG did and not integrating Murkrow/Houndour in as Kanto has zero dark types.
